99% v 1%: the data behind the Occupy movement - animation
It has been the rallying cry of the Occupy movement for the past two months - but is the US really split 99% v 1%? As poverty and inequality reach record levels, how much richer have the rich got? This animation explains what the key data says about the state of America today.

Christian?
iamrevival-blog:
The man charged with the Norway shooting is described as a “fundamentalist Christian.”
I’m sorry but I’m not sure someone who goes directly against everything Jesus taught and embodied should be called a Christian. Shooting and killing people are not things Jesus would do nor support (e.g. Garden of Gethsemane).
It’s so sad - for the victims, their families, and the shooter....

Morning thoughts as I prep for Europe
I know who I am & that I was born to change my world. I know God is for me and for this trip. And I know something is coming very soon that stress, sickness, fear, doubt & hell itself can’t steal away from me. This is not just the mindset I live from, but the reality and realm I live from. It’s the thing that gives me breath, keeps my blood pumping & sets my spirit aflame.
As some of you know, I have been to Russia three times and from these travels, produced the World Through Their Eyes:Russia book. Well, I am traveling back to Eastern Europe, but this time to three new nations I’ve never visited: Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. I will be a part of a team visiting the Gypsy communities in each of these nations and I have been given the opportunity to tell some...

I Love The First Nation Peoples!
I love this painting. You can order prints here. Below is more info about it.
This was painted for the survivors of the Canadian Residential School experience. For those who don’t know, it was government policy to “kill the Indian” in children by taking them forcibly from their homes and transporting them to far away schools. These Schools were run primarily by religious...

We must learn that to expect God to do everything...
Therefore we must never feel that God will, through some breath-taking miracle or a wave of the hand, cast evil out of the world. As long as we believe this, we will pray unanswerable prayers and ask God to do things that He will never do. The belief that God will do everything for man is as untenable as the belief that man can do everything for himself. It too, is based on lack of faith. We...

Love Is A Person.
I think we should forget all this hell talk and try to dissect what Jesus meant when He said:
“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.” (Matt. 10:37)
To me this is way more intense than the hell thing. As one person I heard recently said, “Why do Christians get so caught up arguing...
